Retreats are a rare opportunity to set aside the concerns of every day life, break through our delusions and see our true selves. To that end, retreats are more intensive. We will do bowing, walking, sitting and chanting meditation. Silence is maintained throughout the retreat even during breaks. We ask that you don’t read or write in a journal.

Zen meditation retreats consists of bowing, chanting and sitting meditation. Private interviews with Zen Master Wu Kwang are offered. Meals are taken in traditional 4 bowl style.

Fee for the retreat is as follows:
Non Kwan Um members – $100
Kwan Um Members – $75
Dharma Teacher/Dharma Teachers in Training $70
Fee for one day – $50
